Jewish Community sophomore starting pitcher Elijah Jatovsky threw a no-hitter in the Wolves’ 12-0 win over North Valley Baptist of Santa Clara in Private School Athletic League play on Monday.

Jatovsky struck out three and walked only two in the five-inning win (the game was stopped after the fifth due to the 10-run mercy rule), pounding the bottom of the strike zone to force six groundball outs.

Jatovsky is 2-2 on the season and has a team-low 3.23 ERA in 21 2/3 innings.

The visiting Wolves (6-6) were also lifted by a 2-for-3 performance from freshman Andy Glickfeld, who had a double and an RBI.
