Urban School rallied back from a 7-0 deficit to cut the lead to 7-4 in the sixth inning, but eventually fell 9-4 to No. 2 seed St. Bernard Catholic of Eureka in the CIF-North Coast Section Division V semifinals on Saturday at Larry Standley Field in Hayward.

Urban catcher Elena Goldstein and Rebecca Beams had key RBIs for the Blues (11-6-1) who advanced further than any other San Francisco team in the spring.

St. Bernard had to then play top-seeded College Prep of Oakland at 7 p.m. on Saturday, after the game against Urban at 4 p.m.

College Prep defeated St. Bernard 1-0 in the final, to finish a 22-0 season.
