Girls Golf: St. Ignatius wins third consecutive CCS title in Carmel

With a combined score of 419, St. Ignatius won its third-consecutive CIF-Central Coast Section title in the section championship at the Rancho Canada Golf Club’s East Course in Carmel.

The Wildcats finished nine strokes ahead of second-place finisher Castilleja and 18 strokes clear of third-place finisher and WCAL rival Presentation.

Andrea Wong and Alexandra Wong were St. Ignatius’ top performers, finishing tied for 10th in the field of 92 with a 6-over 78s.

Evergreen Valley’s Hannah Suh won the individual tournament with a even-par 72.

St. Ignatius, Castilleja and Presentation will represent the section, along with 26 individuals, in the NorCal championships at Stockton Country Club on Monday.
