Game of the day – Bay vs. Gateway girls soccer: After dropping last season’s BCL Central title game to International 2-1, the Breakers are looking to get another shot at the top-seeded Jaguars, which haven’t lost a league game in the past two seasons. But Bay will have to get through Gateway first. Bay won both regular season meetings with Gateway 3-1 and 2-0.

    I thought it was real weird that Mitty would have six guys in the infield sticking the ground with screwdrivers, then watering the grass…but then when such a good hitting team bunts 4 guys in the first few innings I soon realized what the strategy was. It was disappointing to see the depth that some teams go for a win. What are the coaches teaching these kids….
