Every week, members of the SanFranPreps.com staff, other local media members and one of our commenters will make predictions on the weekend’s games featuring our local San Francisco teams. Please feel free to make your own picks in the comment section and discuss the week’s games.

With the league seasons starting up, our competition will hopefully be heating up.

Some of our pickers will need to make up a lot of ground, but the commenters are right in the thick of things, only behind our leaders by two games.

Galileo, Washington, Mission, Bellarmine, Stuart Hall and Valley Christian are all consensus picks, so opportunities to move up will be slim again.

SI will be the only city team to earn a WCAL Victory this weekend……….SHCP and Riordan will both lose by equal margins…actually SHCP may lose more lopsided

  4. Cats Pride says:

SI is gonna have a tough game, hopefully with the extra week they had to prepare they should be good though. I don’t think the SH or Riordan games will even be close though. The Bells almost beat DLS, so they’ll crush SH. Valley Christian has Byron Marshall who Riordan will have no chance at stopping.

  5. Paul B. says:

I hope Albert Watters of SI is not out for the year because of a knee injury.

  6. Swag-Monstah says:

Is Ronzel Fox of Galileo still eligible to play?

  7. Current SH Student says:

The irish are not to be dealt with. That game’s just a glimpse of what’s in the future. Only losing to the bells by 7? Definitly potential…

    • IC Stars says:

SHC is definitely not to be overlooked. If the Irish took better care of the ball late in the game, that would have stunned everybody. The offense just needs more time and reps out there in order to look more solid. The defense was all over the place.
