  1. I would like to see SHC win but I think SI has too much offense for them. Let’s not even bring up the so called curse or the last time SHC won this game ( 2005). SI 28-17

  2. 7-0 Irish after opening drive TD by Miles on a 3rd and 12… Looks like a promising night.

  3. Jack Harrington with a 27 yard FG to start to 2nd quarter… 10-0 Irish…. Question, your best athlete on your football team is usually your QB. Harrington is also the Irish kicker. Why cant any of the QBs from the AAA kick extra points or short yardard FGs? Are they not athletic enough?

    • The same question can be asked about why City WCAL teams can’t beat the South Bay teams. Yes SH won, but they beat up on a WINLESS team. That doesn’t really say much at all!

    • Oh…by the way since we know how much you LOVE the AAA….Miles is a product of the AAA (Balboa) and without him, SH would suck just like SI and Riordan!!!!! You can’t dispute that because SH can not win without him and it has been proven!

  4. Zach Tapel with a 8 yd TD rec from Harrington. 17-0… this is quite a surprise. SI always is prepared and are defensively sound. So this probably means SH has a good offensive line this year. Theyve always had great RBs, but when they dont have a good offensive line, SI usually destroys SH at the line of scrimmage.

  5. Mike Pia 62 yard TD for SI to close out the 1st half to give life to SI. Ummmm, Coach Lee, how bout playing cover 3 on that one?

  6. few minutes left in the 3rd quarter. Miles 43 yard TD run… 24-7, SI is done.

  7. The Irish are getting their party on tonight! SH dominate on both sides of the ball. Miles must have had over 200 yards rushing and Harrington with a couple of TD tosses (Tapel should have had two) and the defense did their job. SI needs to find a way to shore up that run defense, because everyone will run on them!

  8. Just read chron article and Miles had over 300+ yards on the ground. Also sorry Harrington with 3 TD passes, should have been 4, but just a great game by the Irish. Coach Lee should be enjoying that cigar and drink right now and the grove with be rocking!

  9. Miles had 300+ rushing yards. Half of them were probably on 3 long run plays. It also helps when you have a QB that can actually throw. SI had to respect SH’s passing threat instead of keying in on MIles as they have keyed in on SH’s RBs the past 20 years. This was a thorough butt-whooping. This should’ve been 38-0 to be honest. The first SI TD was a 62 yard TD with 9 seconds left in the 1st half while SH chose to play man to man instead of a 2 or 3 deep zone, and the last SI score was just letting SI chew up time to get the game over with. I’ve seen many a time this same recap but with SI making all the noise. Refreshing to finally reverse the rolls. Great game Irish. Now its up to Johns, Fox & Company to bring home the Bruce.

  10. The Lick-Wilmerding girls tennis match @ Marin Academy (San Rafael) might have been moved to this coming Monday.
