Girls Volleyball: Jewish Community 3, Kehillah 0
Not only did the Wolves (14-3, 12-0) retain the Kiddush Cup with a 25-2, 25-16, 25-7 win over rival Kehillah on Thursday, they capped an undefeated season in the Private School Athletic League’s Bay division.
It all started with a dominating first game, where the Wolves went on a 22-0 run behind the solid jump serving of sophomore Paige Lerman.
Jewish Community will begin PSAL playoffs on Monday.
Girls Tennis: University 5, International 2
Top-seeded University dispatched the fourth-seeded Jaguars in the second round of the Bay Counties League West playoffs, behind singles wins from Katrina Allick (6-2, 6-2), Lydia Lee (6-2, 6-1) and Emily Stabler (6-1, 6-1).
International’s Natalie Kelly won the only singles match for the Jaguars in the loss, 6-0, 6-1.
Boys Soccer: Lowell 4, Marshall 0
Lowell senior Max Pollard had two goals to lead the Cardinals (16-0) to their 34th straight Academic Athletic Association win.
The Cardinals also got goals from Zach Weisenberger and Aaron Moye, who also had two assists.
Boys Soccer: Galileo 5, Wallenberg 1
The Lions (3-12-1) got a hat trick from Jesus Jimenez to claim their third AAA win of the season.
Freshman Amir Gonzalez and junior Pepe Garcia also had goals for Galileo, but Wallenberg (0-16) scored a late goal to avoid the shutout.
