Sorry this took me so long to get up. I was a little busy today.
Lowell beat SH!!!!! What a huge win for both the Cardinals and the AAA!!! Bet this’ll shake up next weeks rankings..
On top of that, the SHC girls volleyball team goes down tonight in 5.
Yup – the Lowell / SHCP girls basketball game was entertaining. Glad I stopped by to check it out. :)
GREAT JOB LOWELL!!!!!
SH isn’t the SH of old anymore. Anybody can beat SH now even somebody’s CYO team. Looking at the SH team today is very sad. That guy does not know talent at all. Lualu was on the bench with a sprained ankle, she’s their whole team. Get better Lualu!
I agree with you! they had a chance to actually be a powerhouse team this year .. he put two of his best point guards on JV that should be on vars ! and lost two of his strong post … It’s crazy how downhill this program went ! it’s sad .. but good luck to the SH girls!
It is sad what this program has become. You go from the number one team in the country and a connection to one of the top programs in the area; to a program where many of the parents of the stronger kids in the area will not think about sending their kids. How can an AD allow a coach to destroy a progam? It is truly sad. He has not only stopped a great pipeline, but he has left 4 players off of varsity that would have helped them this year.
Now that Summers-Luaulu is out, it exposes his inexperience in analyzing varsity level talent. No team in the WCAL should have to rely on one person.
Truly sad!
One player left off could have helped as a rebounder and a post
defender. What is done is done they’ll have to play what they have.
I dont know about all that. Coach Carey got the girls to play and win a CCS championship beating SI last year. I think this will buy him some time for now. I think SHC girls wlll be fine. Could things be better, sure, but it isnt a losing program.
Despite thier loss, I wouldn’t underestimate SH. They are still a good team that will do good this year.
