  1. LINCOLN will lose again in this tourney. None of the players can shoot and they are weak.

  2. If anyone knows the opponents of any of the question mark games, let me know.

  3. Galileo is playing Berkeley today.

  4. Where is Johnny Drama???

  5. Update for those Middle School fans. The AAA Middle School Boys’ Final will be Presidio versus Aptos, next Tuesday @ 5:30pm @ Kezar.

Aptos spanked Francisco , 36-19 and Presidio edged Rooftop 21-19 in the Semis today also @ Kezar.

I was really riding that the rooftop team would make finals this year.

I was rooting for Rooftop. Big mistake when #5 left the game with a bloody nose very briefly and the coach didn’t call time out. That 20 seconds was all it took for Presidio to hit a 3 and take the lead. Wow, there were only like 2 1/2 minutes left in the game and they were up by 1, what was that coach thinking. Still had a chance at the end but the Rooftop defender gave up the baseline on the game winning layup with 6 seconds left, incredible!

  6. SHC’s website said the boys beat Eastside College Prep at the John May Classic 52-35. Could you confirm that? I thought it was Dougherty Valley.

    • The girls team beat Eastside. I think they mistakenly posted the same score on the boys page.

      • Thanks, they posted a correction a little while ago. Now it says they beat Dougherty Valley but the score isn’t posted….

        • Yeah, I’m trying to find out that score and working on tracking down all of the games for today. I love covering basketball, but I hate tournament season.

  7. Lowell is an awesome team… but noticed post players definitely need to get serious with their foot work and fundamentals to get better… and… what’s with the turnovers? And free throws? They had same issue last season.
