Girls Basketball: Mercy 79, South San Francisco 48

The Skippers (11-0) will keep winning if they continue to get outstanding performances from seniors Mariah Masoli and Courtney Sabahi.

Masoli scored 24 points on 9-of-13 shooting, doled out 10 assists and had five steals in Mercy’s win over the Warriors (4-4), and is averaging 16 points per game this season. Sabahi had her seventh double-double of the season, featuring 16 points and 12 rebounds, and is averaging over 13 points and 10 rebounds on the year.

Not to be overlooked, junior guard Christina Haight could not miss on Thursday, connecting on all eight of her shots from the floor, scoring 18 points to go along with seven steals and five assists.

Girls Basketball: Lowell 53, Menlo-Atherton 32

The Cardinals (8-2) won their fourth straight game behind a team-high 15 points from junior guard Katarina Lum.
