The Crusaders (6-3) started the game on a 10-0 run and held the lead until the fourth quarter, until Edison’s Joshua Johnson converted a 3-point play with 1:37 left to give the Vikings (8-4) a 50-49 lead in the South San Francisco Classic.
Riordan guards D.J. Harvey and Geru Mabrey led the Crusaders with 17 and 14 points, respectively, and junior forward Graham Gilleran had a near double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.
