Games of the day – Galileo vs. Washington girls basketball: Both teams are 5-1 in AAA play and if the Lions want to stay within reach of Lowell in the Neff Division, a win over the Eagles is essential. Lick-Wilmerding vs. Urban boys basketball: Many thought the Tigers had a shot at being in first place in the BCL West at this point in the season, but the Blues are a bit of a surprise. The winner of this game will likely remain in a first-place tie with University. St. Ignatius vs. Sacred Heart Cathedral girls basketball: The Wildcats are riding high after their best win of the season over Mitty last week, but it would be unwise to overlook the Irish, which stand in third place in the WCAL standings. 1. Paul B. says:

WHOA!! I can’t believe that SI had a lot of students sick today. So sad they had to close the school tomorrow for inspection. Also, the boys teams may have some players sit out because of the sickness.

    • JJ says:

I wonder what they were serving in the cafeteria on Monday??

      • Paul B. says:

        I don’t know. I’m just a visitor not a student.

      • Go Cats says:

Lunch yesterday was beef hot dogs. While I’m not saying that food poisoning should be ruled out, I have friends who did not eat the lunch yesterday or today (who never eat from the cafeteria) who are currently ill.

        • JJ says:

Maybe the water is contaminated. Sewage leak? Or, like someone said: food contamination. Contaminated water and food contamination are the main ways to get a stomach flu.

  2. Arthur Chin says:
