Prep Wrapup: Sacred Heart Cathedral boys tennis opens with win over Lincoln

Boys Tennis: Sacred Heart Cathedral 7, Lincoln 0

The Irish (1-0) kicked off the spring season with a lopsided win over the Mustangs (0-1) at San Francisco State University on Monday.

Lincoln only won seven games overall and Sacred Heart got singles wins from senior Clark Wininger (6-1, 6-1), freshman Donald Hall (6-2, 6-1), junior Brandon Cubinar (6-0, 6-1) and junior Alexander Cocoles (6-0, 6-0). The Irish doubles teams were flawless, with wins from the pairings of Cole Caceres and Andy Rosenstein, Christian Yun and Andrew Brobst, and Eugene Cheng and Eugene Shekhtman, all by 6-0, 6-0.

    Congrats to the Lincoln players that amassed those 7 games won. Not sure if anyone really broke a sweat out there but good effort guys.
