  1. OMG i just threw up all over my keyboard!

If anyone disagrees, I think Josh Fox has a better chance of making an NBA squad than Domingo does. Now before anyone tells me thats ridiculous, I said, NBA squad which means 1 of the 15 roster spots. So he could be a 15th man who gets sent to NBDL. I do not imply that he will be an all star, a starter, a 6,7,8th man on a team.

Lets look at his skills. He is can make any shot on the 21 ft and in. Have you seen form on his outside shot? He can play with his back to the basket and has a post of game. He can make a turnaround 15ft-&-in on either shoulder. He rebounds like hes 6’9. He plays defense and usually keeps his man in front of him. Hes a great help defender and an underrated passer. Most of all, hes selfless. He doesnt know what stats he’s accumulated during the game. He just cares about winning. His weaknesses are he’s not ultra quick like a Dunbar but who is?… He’s not a tremendous ball handler (hes not asked to be a ball handler at SH), but makes excellent decisions when catching at the high post… And he doesnt have that jumpshot off a curl that SD31 seems to only work on all year and nothing else.

At 6’4 he will be undersized as a 2 guard. I wont give JJ NBA-like comparables but he could be a Jorge Gutierrez at Cal. Real hard-nose guy, high basketball IQ player, just makes plays, team leader.

    • I have no problem with SD31 getting an academic schlorship, my problem is him getting one based on basketball. He has not led SI to championships or wins. SD31 seems like a very nice young man, I am sure he will be successful in life, just not so sure it will be in basketball based on his performance.on the court for now. But he can only get better, right?

Jbalan, who do you got on the galileo-tamalpais game? do you think galileo will make a run this year?

    • We are not covering that game today. A run in the AAA? I believe they will be a good team again, because most the players were underclassmen last year.

congrats Stephen! hard work pays off in and out of the classroom.

    • We need to keep bball in perspective. Focus on academics. Gets you through life.

It is because of his academics that the options will be many (despite the tough time this year). I wish kids would understand this.

  4. Too bad SI doesn’t play Lowell in beisbol this year, because then the Cardinals would get swept by the Holy Trinity.

  5. Hey, jbalan that last comment from me was not me. Someone is trying to frame me, and how could I comment on sfp while I was playing during the tamp and gal game.
