  1. Stacey Ward better have her stroke going like the time she was sick, or it will be a very long bus ride back to San Francisco for the Cats. I don’t see any lines, but I would guess SI would be about 15 pt underdogs in this David vs Goliath matchup.

  2. Girls Soccer

    O’Connell 0
    Lowell 5

  3. JB make sure Sr. Francis works the time clock properly. She has a habit of forgetting to start/stop the clock when its supposed to start/stop.

    • Whoever you are….Ari Gold….I have never knowingly cheated on the clock. And for you to publicly accuse me of cheating is uncalled for and reprehensible.
It takes the clock a second or so to tick when it is turned on. And if you have never been at the scorers table and run the game clock you have no idea what is involved.

    • You also mispelled my name!

  4. SHC got the easiest road to SAC. In the Elite 8, they are playing a 12 seed who they should beat comfortably, then they blasted a Miramonte team in the Sweet 16 who was way overmatched except at the point guard position. Good luck in SAC as the next 2 games will be the hardest to win.

    • Memo to JJ – Uh, that is what you get as a No. 1 seed. SHC still has to earn a trip to State through Bishop O’Dowd.

    • Haha, JJ, they are the # 1 seed, they earned it all the way baby.

    • All the teams at this level are pretty good. You are one and done right? Keep up the good work, IRISH, way to represent for the city.

    • Saturday vs Bishop O’Dowd should be a good game with two evenly matched teams. SHC is playing really well and I like their chances as long as Taylor Johns doesn’t get into foul trouble. Miramonte and Center were clearly over-matched and never stood a chance against Taylor, Josh & Co.

See you in Sacramento on Saturday GO IRISH!

      • SHC is playing well….I don’t see them losing. Even the SoCal team projected to represent the south will be in for a difficult game against SHC. Granted, their last 2 games will be their toughest of the post season but their battles with Mitty and Serra prepared them well for the state tournament. Best of luck to the city boys!

      • Jesuit beat BOD by ten points. SHC blew them out of the building. Let’s see the same in Sacramento. Go IRISH!

SH beat both Jesuit and McClymonds this year, two division 1 nor-cal semi finalists. see u in sactown.

  5. ….And Miramonte moves on into the Final 4. SHC girls as a 3 seed was a joke. SHC should’ve lost the CCS championship game, then they would’ve had an easier opponent in NorCals. Miramonte should’ve been the 2 seed, not a 6. A 6 is given to an average to good team (i.e. SHC), not a great team like Miramonte. And I’m still laughing at the 2 seed that Lowell girls had. Lowell the 2nd best team in Northern Cali in D1? comical.

Oh my goodness – JJ: let it go! You are laughing? Hey – the ladies stepped on the court and played hard – more than you can say you did. Easy to “coach” etc. from the stands . . .
