Boys Lacrosse: Drew 14, Bentley 3

The Dragons (1-0) traveled to the East Bay to play their first lacrosse game in school history and came away with a decisive win, behind a standout defensive effort and a balanced attack. The Drew attack tallied 11 total assists and got four goals from Julian Faro-White and three from Hao Tran. The pair also combined for seven assists.

Boys Golf: Valley Christian 203, Riordan 222

The Crusaders (1-5, 1-4) dropped their third-straight West Catholic Athletic League match, but got a solid performance from senior Anthony Gutierrez in the loss to the Warriors. Gutierrez shot a team-low 38 at Silver Creek Golf Course in San Jose and was the only Riordan golfer to shoot under 40.

Boys Golf: Bay 159, Urban 181

The Breakers won the Bay Counties League West match decisively, but the top individual performances were from Bay’s David Perell and Urban’s Alex Polatnick, who both shot match-low 38s at Presidio Golf Course.

  1. Congratulations Drew! Nice work!

  2. please can we get a lacrosse article that cover someone other than the 3 worst teams in league? AKA I better not see a Drew/Bay/Bentley article before I see a Lick/Urban/University/Marin Academy/Sonoma academy article!
