  1. Also,

    WBAL girls lacrosse :
Castiejllo (Palo Alto) vs Sacred Heart Cathedral at Moscow Field (Crocker Amazon), 4:00pm

  2. All the talk by SHC supporters that Riordan is the bottom-dwellers in the WCAL, yet Riordan comes out with a 5-3 baseball victory over the Irish.

    • Wait? The game’s not over? I see Riordan 5. SHC 4 in the twitter feed.

      • ARHS Stats | March 20, 2012 at 6:27 PM |

no, the game’s over. There was a run scored by SHC in the Bottom of the 7th inning, that was not added into the score

    • ARHS Stats | March 20, 2012 at 6:39 PM |

SHC did not have their #1 pitcher pitching, today. Chris Miguel pitched only the 7th inning of the game for SHC, I think he hit in the run in the 7th inning for SHC. Chris Miguel was playing Third Base today.

SHC pitched #44 Harrington, #16 Mussman, #23 Wallace, and #50 Miguel in the 7th.

Jorge Navarro started the game for Riordan and got the win, Sean Donovan got the save for Riordan.

      • Chris Miguel is a pitcher among throwers. SHC bench was dead quiet. I’ll be shocked if they win a league game.

Nice to see the Crusaders get a W! So far 1-1 in league and not blown out.

          • It’s good for Matt Gallegos. Not surprised they’re playing better these days.

          • One thing I can say is coach Gallegoes with his smarts and passion will get the Riordan kids playing hard and believing hard work pays off…Good job kids!

SI and St. Francis game ends in a tie 4-4 in 9 innings. Game called for darkness.

  4. Thats a big win for Riordan and coach Gallegoes who works very hard with the kids he has, and he has the JV team working hard and playing well as they beat SHC 5 to 1 and it was an unearned run by SHC. And the frosh score was competitive at SHC 10 Riordan 9, Good job coaches and kids so keep working hard and good things will come your way..

  5. From Tues. 3/20:

    MCAL girls lacrosse
    University vs. Redwood (Larkspur) (postponed)

    Non-league girls soccer
    Leadership 4, Emery (Emeryville) 1

    Non-league boys tennis
University 6, Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa) 1
