Games of the day – St. Ignatius vs. Serra baseball: The Wildcats are seeking their first WCAL tournament title in school history against the Padres, which have won more league titles than any other school. The Wildcats are the higher seed, but Serra is the WCAL’s hottest team and has won eight straight games in league play. International vs. Bay girls soccer: The Breakers may be the No. 2 seed, but make no mistake, the Jaguars are overwhelming favorites to win their fifth straight BCL Central title. International outscored Bay 10-0 in two regular season games and outscored league opponents 79-2 en route to an undefeated record. 1. I’m listening to the baseball game on SI Sports Radio, and all the errors and blunders are giving me a migraine.

  2. thats music to my ears. lets go padres!

  3. SI baseball will go down in WCAL history as the Chicago Cubs of the WCAL.

  4. A very good season for SI baseball. Cant remember any of the 3 SF teams even making it this far and this was a down year for Serra. 1980 is a long long time in ago in a galaxy far far away. There must have been mental nerves running wild today for SI. Oh well, Im happy with the outcome. Another great season for a sports team but no hardware to put in the trophy case.
