SI wins CCS titles in both football and baseball this year. First baseball championship in school history. Props to both teams, and to catcher Charlie Goldensohn, co-captain of both teams, and the only high school athlete to play two sports (football and baseball) at ATT Park.

    • Also props to Travis McDow, a recruit for D1 football at USD, who in addition to Charlie played at AT&T park for both the CCS Championship game in football and the Bruce-Mahoney for Baseball.

    • Did Jack Harrington of SHC play football and baseball at AT&T Park too?

Charlie and Collin played in the Bruce at ATT as sophomores. The games at ATT were rained out junior and senior years so the kids didn’t get to play there the last 2 years. If Jack Harrington played on the SHC varsity baseball team as a sophomore, then he too played both sports at ATT. If he didn’t then Charlie is the only player to have done so, from any high school.

        • I’m sure it’s a pretty good feat, but it’s kinda like saying Jack Harrington has the high school record for TD’s, completions, passing yards, longest TD pass, and interceptions at AT&T Park.

      • So did Mike Wallace class of 2013.

why does it matter that charlie played at AT&T Park?

        Cuz it’s cool.

Did MIke Wallace play in the Bruce (baseball) at ATT in 2010?

Charlie is also the only high school player to win at AT&T in both baseball and football, as he played in SI’s win in baseball when he and Collin Monsour were sophomores. Congratulations!

What happened to the AAA All-City Track and Field finals Sat at Kezar? I thought JB implied he was going to cover that. A lot more SF high schools (11) and athletes were involved in that event!
