  1. I hate it when football games end in a tie; this isn’t soccer.

  2. Wow a 70 burger! What does the coach have to say about that one? At least we scored 42??

  3. Great start for the underrated Irish Football team, defense were studs, offence solid 1st half, poor 2nd, need to figure out a better running game, JP looked tired in the 4th, I thought it would have been a good time to wet the feet of White, overall very promising start to the season

    • SH is going to need some depth. It does not appear they have the numbers on the sideline. All looked tired towards the end. Good win over a perrenial decent team.

  4. So did Marshall win 70-42 or lose 70-42, on the twitter it says they lost on the scoreboard it says they won?

The mission backs look very good today, I was impressed. Hope they have a good season this year.

  6. Based on 1 game, I can tell Galileo will be a very strong contender for AAA turkey day championship; they only gave up 14 points while Lowell and Marshall’s defenses didn’t stop anything.

    • Mills has been one of the worst teams in the PAL for a couple of years now. So I wouldn’t jump on the Galileo train yet.

  7. Marshall is the only City school that lost on Friday….and they got blown out. This should serve as a good lesson when it comes to humbling yourself. This is, by no means, directed towards the players who did their best (and I’m proud of all of you!). This comment is directed towards the coach who, obviously, has bitten off more than he can chew right now!

  8. Did Marshall and San Rafael play a basketball game and we didn’t know about it? Scoring 42 points in football? Not a big deal, it can happen on a good offensive play (or you are playing a bad team). Giving up 70 points though? Hopefully Jeremy is writing a story on that! :)

    • I was there. The story will be up after everything else. Editing the others first then going to work on mine.

      Thank you for your patience!

I love your sense of humor! But this score does reflect a basketball game moreso a football game!

  9. Also, from Fri. 8/31:

Balboa def. Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park) in girls volleyball 3 games to none.

    • The scores BTW in the Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park) – Balboa girls volleyball match were: 25-10 Balboa, 25-8 Balboa, & 25-13 Balboa.
