  1. SI takes a 6-0 lead on pooch kick-off and recovery, and birthday boy Jack Stinn throws about a 17 yard TD pass to #3 or #5. They miss the PAT. The score should be around 14-0, but whenever SI makes a big play, the refs call holding. #5 Joe Lang, for instance, returned a 80 yard punt for a TD, but the refs called it back. Noah Bull just made a great interception and returned it back about 40 yards to the TN 27 yard line. For some reason, Albert Waters is not playing.

  2. Dale ran for about a 10 yard TD to give SI a 13-0 lead before the 1st quarter ends.

  3. SI throws too many INT’s. Like I said last week, they need to run more. The refs obviously rooting for TN. Whenever TN throws for a 20 yard pass, it’s pass interference and when SI makes a big play, it’s holding. Terra Nova takes the lead on a long TD run; SI’s defense needs alot of work.

  4. SHC got ran over in the second half. No fun.

  5. Hey JB, take out the “3” in Sacred Heart’s score. As you know, they only scored 7 points.

  6. I think Marshall will do better in league. They’re having a tough time with their non-league opponents, but I do expect them to do well in league. I predict they’ll take either 3rd or 4th place, but either way, they’ll make the playoffs.

    • I don’t know, man. The Marshall coach claims he has a couple D-1’s on his roster. If he really had that, they would easily score more than 12 points.

  7. Not if they’re injured.

  8. From Fri. 9/7:

    Non-league girls volleyball
    Mercy 3, Balboa 0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-19)
