  1. Ari Gold says:

Marshall Points Allowed: 70, 57, 53, 20, 41, and probably another 50 after today vs Lowell… It just appears whoever they have out there on defense thinks this is just a complete joke.

    • JJ says:

I heard they had 17 suited players during 1 game, so basically the whole team has to play 2 ways. I get tired just walking uphill, so I imagine these kids get tired running around for 48 minutes with no break except halftime and timeouts.

      • Ari Gold says:

At some point, this has to stop. Someone is going to get hurt really bad and there will be a lot of finger pointing. I know all you need is 11, but 17 isnt any better. If you cant field 25, you shouldnt really have a team. Its too much of a health risk for kids.

        • that_kid says:

Wash barely has 19 kids they are all conditioned the coach’s better step there game up and stop complaining if they are trynna be AAA champs

  2. Nick Foster says:

It’s just the state AAA football is in right now. I play JV for Gal and we’re lucky if we get 30 players on the roster, much less suited up in the games week in and week out. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been gassed going into the final quarter since we’re pretty much forced to play offense defense and special teams with barely any breaks. Same goes with the Varsity team.

  3. Lance says:

Hey Ari you could have been talking about the Riordan game.

    • Lance says:

Felt bad for an outmatched Riordan team. Was a trap game for Serra with their arch-rival Bells coming to West 20th next week. I guess you can say they were not looking ahead.

    • Ari Gold says:

I can take two things away from tonight. 1) SHC is going to lose by 60 to Serra. 2) their only shot at a league win is vs Riordan.

      • JJ says:

I’ve seen SHC and Riordan both play, and SHC is better. although Riordan has a good QB, his line isn’t that good except #77. On defense, Riordan is smaller than SHC’s D. Riordan’s D only has 2 big guys. SHC’s D is pretty good, but kinda small in height in the secondary. I think SHC will lose to Serra like 42 to 10 and SHC will beat Riordan 31 to 21

  4. TM76 says:

Battle for second place in the city WCAL when SH plays Riordan. SI will be 2-0. Riordan better find a running game and SH better try and stop the running game better or they both will have a long season in league play.

  5. Paul B. says:

They should get a new P.A. system for Kezar Stadium soon.

    • Ari Gold says:

Theres actually nothing wrong with the PA system. For years the residents around Kezar complained about the stadium noise which included the loud speakers. They complained enough where only one speaker on each side was turned on. Not making this up, i have first hand knowledge.

  6. Don L. says:

Just out of curiosity, does SF have any pee-wee or junior type football leagues? I remember there were in years past but I don’t know about now. It just seems the state of football in the City is bad. The AAA probably gets a lot of guys who have not played any football entering high school. The Catholic schools might get some out of town kids, but inside the city, I’m not sure if the quality is there as much as it used to be.

  7. T&F Coach says:

@Don L- The pee-wee teams in the city are the San Francisco Seahawks, Jr 49ers. Brown Bombers, Over the years most of the kids from the Seahawks played for Wash or Gal or SHC. Brown Bombers from what i’ve heard Lincoln, Bal and Mission.

  8. Paul B. says:
