Prayers for the injured Palma player Escoto and his family. This is going to be a hard night for them. I wish the best for them and a safe recovery for the injured young man.

Total domination by all the WCAL teams, let’s see if Riordan keeps their end of the bargain tomorrow night.

  3. Lance says:

All WCAL teams were impressive tonight. SI domination of Palma and Serra’s one-sided win over Paly were very impressive. It’s a shame if SI has to travel to San Jose for the rematch with Mitty since they just got done spanking them last week to earn a higher seed.

One of the biggest surprises tonight was that a team actually had more penalties than Serra in their game.I’m begining to think that Open final will be rematch SI vs Bells. It’s getting intresting.

Valley Christian is playing a 5-5 Burlingame team tomorrow. I expect a 42-7 type score in that game. The wildcard is Riordan vs Sobrato. I have no idea who’s going to win that game(any predictions?) Listening to the Palma broadcast gave me a headache because they kept calling #5 for SI “Joe LARNG” and called #2 “Albert WALTERS”.

      • jbalan says:

I don’t have an excuse for them calling him “Walters,” but Lang is listed as “Larng” on the SI MaxPreps roster.

        • JJ says:

Well, they also said that SI plays their games at Kezar; they probably got confused with SH. And who are the 2 D1’s on Palma’s line that someone mentioned? I don’t think Stinn ever got sacked.
