  1. The Marshall boys game may be starting at 6:30 p.m., which would make sense because the girls game is scheduled for 5 p.m. We’re still waiting to hear for sure.

  2. The SI lady wildcats hoops team is also playing tonight when they host Westmoor (Daly City) @ 7PM. But I’m not going to attend that game because I’m coming down w/ a cold.

  3. Washington girls are playing Carey from Melboune, Australia tonight at 6:00pm at Washington

  4. Crusaders dismantle Balboa 83-38.

  5. Went to the Riordan game. They toyed with balboa. Mabrey didn’t even start today. They could have scored 100 of they wanted to. They’re a very good team.

  6. I don’t know if the Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton) boys hoops team either scored 49 or 50 points tonight. WCAL twitter says 49 but & says that they scored 50.

  7. Crusaders crushed the Bucs but Balboa did have a spunkie kid that was a 10th grader named Kevin Newman. He played till the end and had heart. Hope the Bucs do well in league.

  8. is drew that bad of a team to only beat SFI by 6 and giving up 42 points or did SFI just got 20x better than last year? i can recall that burton held them under 20 and scored 100 against them and galileo could have scored 100 on them if they didn’t play a slow tempo game in the second half and SFI was held under 10 points against them last year at the jefferson tournament. im just wondering cause thats a big jump from last year for SFI.

  9. anyone know if Dunbar played for SI?

Although Balboa was out matched by Riordan’s size and speed, they never quit playing. Sophomore, Kevin Neumann played an incredibly strong game. He is a talent to keep and eye on.

Agreed. They played a strong game and never just “phoned it in”. They never quit giving it their all. The coaches, families and fans and supporters should be proud and they had some great support in the stands throughout the game – helped the players keep it going. There were some strong players including Kevin Neumann, as you mentioned, and others – there is talent in the rough in that team. Good Luck in the season.
