Games of the Day – Stuart Hall vs. University boys basketball: Since a league-opening loss to Marin Academy, the Red Devils have won four straight and are now in a three-way tie for first place in the BCL West. The Knights are just behind with a 2-2 league record. Riordan vs. St. Ignatius boys basketball: The Wildcats got the best of the Crusaders in their first league meeting, but that was at home, where they have a 3-0 record in WCAL play. St. Ignatius has not performed as well on the road, with a 0-3 league record. For live updates on these games, follow us on Twitter at: http://twitter.com/SanFranPreps.

Will the SHC vs Serra game be on the radio?

  2. IC Stars says:

Doesn’t look like it but BayPreps might webcast it. Not sure though.

Tonight’s Riordan-SI game will be video streamed starting at 7:30pm. Go to http://www.riordanathletics.org/index.cfm?action=main.otherad&contentid=245972

Dunbar and Marcu are virtually invisible tonight, yet SI only down 6. Come on SI, stop trying to sandbag your way into a CCS D3 slot!!!

You have to hand it to the cats. The cats played as hard as they could but they were just no match for the crusaders. The Crusader would have won by 20 if they could make a bucket.

Both teams played horrible, but SI played worse. I think I yawned a couple times during the game.

As JBalan mentioned, a lot of SI’s bad play and lack of shot attempts had to do with the Crusader defense. I know both teams have a number of players who are suffering from the flu…Nice to see the steady improvement in Riordan’s overall play.

I haven’t seen any comments on the SHC – Serra game. I figured that Serra would be out for revenge after losing at home in the WCAL opener. Anyone care to chime in with comments on that game?

  5. DG says:

Good win by Lincoln, it’s going to be tough for anyone to challenge their size. With Marshall losing, they should have the #1 seed locked or maybe Gal is that good. Big game next week for Lincoln vs Gal.

  6. Ari Gold says:

Chiefy shouldve gave Yang the Mutumbo finger wag.

  7. Paul B. says:

I wonder why the ISA boys hoops team refuse to play @ Mission today?

  8. GCJ 01 says:

C’mon Pumas….we need to win these close games. You have the talent…just play smart.

Lady Pumas: you’re better than the score states. Go and win the next one. We need some wins!
