Lincoln will have another 18 point win.

    • Feel The Pain says:

I like the Stangs to win, but Lowell’s style of play will not allow them to get blown out. Lowell plays em tough but falls by 12.

      • Feel The Pain says:

Boy was I way off! Lincoln was without James Gurr due to injury and they still dominated Lowell. Game could have been worse had Lincoln made more free throws. Lowell was fortunate to get over 20 in this game with a few buckets coming on Lincoln sub turnovers. Only way Lowell could have stayed with them would have been with Snoddy and Telfor sitting next to Gurr for the game. Lincoln just played lock down D the entire game!

  2. DG says:

Lincoln looks real good. Blowout City. 15-0 after the first quarter.

    • Don L. says:

WOW, I know Lowell is definitely down a bit. Didn’t expect them to get outplayed to that level though! Lincoln probably dominated the inside as I don’t remember Lowell having a lot of height on their roster.

On another note, seems like an exciting game between Mission and Marshall girls. It’s a shame that some games like that don’t get coverage by media (not a complaint). Mission and Marshall girls are not likely to get a lot of coverage as they are not a top team in the AAA If one of the two teams somehow surprises in the AAA playoff / championship race, then maybe they might get some coverage. Hopefully someone from the Mission team will provide a short write up on the game.

  3. mger says:

Marshall’s game was so intense. Marshall will see mission again in the future. Jason Smith with game high 32points with 10 assist 8 rebounds 5 steals behind him was mizelle Parker with 17 points
As for mission it was mostly Porter.

Once again the great coaching at S.I….

    • Josh Weinstein says:

DukeSF23, It’s not like SI was playing the defending state champions on their home court in San Jose, and SI missing their best player all season due to injury, or SI playing with a roster with 8 sophs on it. Yeah, its all the coaching, right? Sheesh.

      • Sandy says:

Didn’t SHC win at Mitty? They are pretty young also right?
Honestly asking these questions not trying to be sarcastic?

      • Ruckjames says:

People are so sensitive toward comments directed to SI’s girls varsity
Basketball coaches. I wonder why!! But it’s just fair to express opinions
SI girls varsity basketball have had a very good players over the last 6-7 years but????!!!. Coach Carey of SHC had 2 CCS championships , but was forced to step down.

    • Ruckjames says:

      Amen!!

      • Josh Weinstein says:

Yes, SHC did win at Mitty and that was very impressive but SHC’s roster isn’t so sophomore heavy like SI’s.

  5. Ruckjames says:

A 16 pt drubbing by Lady Monarchs , I thought the Lady Wildcats could duplicate what the lady Irish
did, because the lady wildcats have superior talent than the Irish. I just hope the lady wildcats win the next
    game against SHC.

  6. tenor1 says:

lick systematically beat a good urban team. two freshman who previously hadn’t been playing got significant playing time and seniors matt bergland, ben schneider, and andrew rauch dominated the paint. tigers making another run.

  7. Paul B. says:

    From Fri. 1/25:

    AAA girls hoops
    Galileo 68, Burton 46

    WBAL Skyline girls hoops
Notre Dame (San Jose) 44, ICA 28

    • Paul B. says:

      Also from Fri. 1/25:

      AAA boys hoops
      Balboa 55, Wallenberg 43
      Burton 50, O’Connell 26

      AAA girls hoops
      Balboa 54, Wallenberg 47

      • Paul B. says:

Oops!!! I put in by accident a Balboa-Wallenberg duplicate in AAA boys hoops. My apologies for that. The one that I was intended to put down was Galileo 70, Jordan 36. Once again, it was my fault to put in a duplicate.
