SI boys has the inside track to make the Open Division and could play El Camino again, that would be a great game.
They’re tied with Bellarmine and while they currently lead in head-to-head, they still have to play down there.
Yea, but the Bells play Riordan 2m at Phelan Ave, while SI plays a winless WCAL squad. However, SI still has to play Bellarmine at their house and Serra on Feb 7, so the race for 4th place is still up for grabs.
Valley Christian (San Jose).
SI remaining games: @ VC, vs Serra, @ Bellarmine
Bellarmine remaining games: @ Riordan, @ St. Francis, vs SI
How does SI have an inside track with Serra and an away game @ Bellarmine next?
How was that battle of the birds game though?!
Wash won…..which is kind of a surprise to me. They really handed it to Lowell.
Lowell’s girls beat Wash, but that’s no surprise. They have the best team in the City….again.
The Mercy girls hoops team lost big this past Fri. to Eastside Prep (East Palo Alto) 55-20.
Wow they really miss Masoli and Sabahi! No wonder Mercy comments doesn’t exist.
Last year they almost went undefeated and choked towards the end
and a lot of Mercy supporters/parents said they can hang with the likes of SI and SHC but got a rude awakening this year.
Mariah Masoli – of the locally “famous” athletic family Masoli – is at CCSF but on injury after surgery – but isn’t she something – what a basketball player – her younger brother Zach is also showing well for Riordan.
