Stuart Hall head boys basketball coach Charles Johnson felt that Saturday night’s home game against Mission might prove to be a turning point in the Knights’ season.
In front of a packed house at their underground gym, the Knights withstood a fourth-quarter Mission rally and held on for a 65-49 non-league win.

The University boys basketball team’s two best players combined to score a single point in the first half against visiting Mission on Tuesday night and that wasn’t a problem.
The Red Devils still led 45-30 at the half and cruised to a 75-63 victory because they may have the deepest group in head coach Randal Bessolo’s eighth year with the program.
