Games of the day – St. Ignatius vs. Sacred Heart Prep boys basketball: The Wildcats will get an early test against the Gators, which went 25-3 last season, but this year, Sacred Heart is a different team. The Gators lost seven of their top eight scorers to graduation. University vs. Mission boys basketball: Both teams are coming off rough weeks, but will look to build momentum with a win to start this week. Lincoln vs. Mission girls volleyball: The Bears (5-0) are tied for first place with Lowell, but will face their toughest test yet in the defending AAA champions. Lowell vs. St. Ignatius girls volleyball: The Wildcats got off to a solid start with a sweep of University in their season opener, then later in the week, the Cardinals, which missed the AAA playoffs last year, stunned the Red Devils in five games.
